Integrix Way of the Hunter Gameplay

Way of the Hunter x Integrix

How It Began

The partnership between Leapers and Way of the Hunter first began in 2024. Ken was our lead testing engineer on the product development team and a big fan of Way of the Hunter, one of the industry's most immersive and realistic hunting simulation games. He is a lifelong hunter and having grown up in Michigan, particularly partial to duck and deer hunting. It didn't matter if it was hunting season or not - his passion always came through, hunting in real life and in-game throughout the entire year.

One day he had a crazy idea: Wouldn't it be cool if Integrix was in the game? Integrix optics was Leapers' newest brand of high performance optics, developed over the course of 10 years and engineered with top-of-the-line German Schott glass. Ken reached out to Nine Rock Games, the developers behind Way of the Hunter, slowly and patiently over the course of the year. In summer of 2025 the partnership was solidified and ready for launch.

Integrix Joins the Hunt

Integrix made its Way of the Hunter in-game debut with the Integrix iX6 3-18X44 in June of 2025. It joined the ranks of Burris and Leupold hunting scopes and was the first riflescope in the game to offer an illuminated reticle.

Designed for mid-to-long range shooting and low-light conditions, the Integrix iX6 delivers the precision and versatility hunters expect in the field and in the virtual hunt.

In the 2025 wrap-up from Way of the Hunter, Integrix was featured as a new partner alongside Bergara and their B-14 Wilderness HMR.

Integrix in Way of the Hunter 2

Way of the Hunter 2 was announced in March of 2026 and continues to build anticipation through early access demos and feature reveals. The upcoming title introduces new hunting mechanics, hunting dogs, vehicles, and expansive new maps, further enhancing the realism that has made the franchise a favorite among hunting enthusiasts. Way of the Hunter 2 is in early access on PC and is slotted to launch in coming months.

In May of 2026 Way of the Hunter 2 unveiled Kilimaya Reserve, a new South African hunting destination that brings players into one of the world's most iconic environments. The new African map introduces hippos as a game animal - an exciting addition for players.

As part of the expansion Integrix remains the highest-magnification riflescope available in the game , out to 18X, and the top choice in Way of the Hunter 2. The riflescope features a custom reticle developed with input from the Way of the Hunter gaming community.

Custom Way of the Hunter Reticle

Back in summer of 2025 Integrix and Way of the Hunter came together with a special idea to design a custom reticle for the Way of the Hunter players. The Way of the Hunter team was announcing the addition of the legendary Cape Eland, found in South Africa, and we used it as a launching point to survey their players about their reticle preferences. We thought, The sky's the limit! We asked players everything from their preferred center aiming shape, stadia design, and wind holds.

The resulting minimalist Christmas tree featuring a hollow, illuminated center dot is available for play in the Way of the Hunter 2 early access demo. Drop us your feedback for if you want it inside your Integrix riflescope in real life!
